Official announcement to customers, suppliers and vendors will be done at a much later stage when we have moved.Ìý The internal office layout has been designed to suit the hybrid working mode. Give Blood. Save Lives. -Singapore

Blood donation is an excellent way of providing help for those in need and the society in general. As part of the Corporate Social Responsibility effort, this year around 20 participants registered for the Blood Donation event held at West Gate. Our volunteers participated in this event enthusiastically. The process took less than 10mins and it was a sight to see everyone patiently waiting to do their part in saving lives.

AGM

The AGM was held on Friday 22nd April 2023 at Devan Nair Institute. The event commenced with Chairlady’s speech. Deputy Chairman Mr. Kian Hui announced the launch of the Annual Report along with the Sustainability Report. He highlighted the expansion of the US office as well as the relocation of the new office at 26 Gul way. All the resolutions were passed after the polling session began followed by some refreshments. Shareholders also participated in the Q & A sessions.

SSD Treetop Walking Adventure

Our SSD team ventured out early morning for treetop walking. They began their 5km journey from Windsor nature park and walked up their way to Terentang Hut. It was a sunny day therefore to boost up the energy, refreshments were provided to keep the team going in high spirits. Well done SSD team !Ìý

Labor Day Visit

Monday 1st May 2023 was indeed a day of joy and happiness for all Mun Siong workers as the Management visited their dormitories for a meet and greet session. A short video clip was also sent to all workers to convey the appreciation of their contributions. During the visit, the Management took a brief tour of the rooms to see if there are any improvements to be made. Management representatives at the various dormitories addressed the workers with a short speech by thanking them for all their efforts and hard work they have been contributing to the company. Workers were overjoyed as they were gifted the new Sharp brand washing machine to mark this joyous occasion. Happy Labour Day 2023 !Ìý

Yard in Malaysia Ready to Operate in Late Q2 / Early Q3

Located in the town of Bandar Panawar, in the district of Kota Tinggi, Johor, at the junction of Jalan Industy Utama, & Jalan Industry A5. Note: Official Mailing Address Pending.

The yard is roughly 1.25 hectares in size, with a covered shop space of just under 2000m². This will serve the few primary functions:

  • Provide fabrication and repair of heat exchangers and pressure vessels, which can then be shipped anywhere in the world, as long as they can be transported on the road.
  • Provide specialized coating services (using Curran coatings) for anything from exchangers to smaller components.
  • Provide fabrication of piping and structure steel for plants within a 100km radius, should there be excess space and insufficient exchanger/pressure vessel work.
  • Logistical hub for the group in Malaysia

Discover the Adventure at Dairy Farm

Finally the day of adventure has arrived! We were lucky to be blessed with good weather and company as all of us ventured our way up to Dairy farm nature park. First we gathered at the Dairy farm carpark and trailed across all the way up to the Catchment Hut. With full enthusiasm everyone was seen encouraging one another to keep the energy and zest going. After a good tiresome day, we treated ourselves with Nasi Lemak and plain water.

Gundre Nagireddy

Reddy is a strong believer of LPS, and he took initiative to translate applicable JLA and LPSA triggers in 4 different languages to meet the tool intent and fit for purpose, and patiently coaching them especially in LPSA tool usage. He spends most of his time at site to observe, to positively reinforce / recognize, provide timely coaching and intervention to his workers.

Mariano Carlito & Azhaganantham Amaresan

Both Azhaganantham Amaresan & Carlito are firm believers in LPS, they are aware of the focus areas to target and communicate with their LPO observers. Most of their time is spent observing, reinforcing/recognizing their workers, and providing timely coaching and intervention. The workers’ morale was boosted greatly because of their active care for them.

We congratulate both Murari and Suresh as deserving BM partners in driving Safety Performance in SCP/SAR2.
